How it works

I Load

Open a plugin you already own

Load any VST3 or AU instrument/FX into Dicebox.

II Lock

Lock or unlock parameters

Click any parameter or whole section — oscillator, filter, envelope, FX — to lock it. Locked values are preserved; only the unlocked ones are subject to the randomization.

III Randomize

Set the intensity, then randomize

Set how far parameters are allowed to move — a 1 % nudge, or total chaos.

Volume, gain, master and bypass parameters are skipped by default, but can be unlocked. Everything else is yours to lock — by parameter, by group, or by section.

No. It hosts your existing VST3 and AU plugins.
• Does it work in my DAW? +
Yes, Dicebox loads inside your DAW as VST3 or AU. It comes as two plugins, one that loads your instruments and one that loads your FX plugins.
• What intensity should I start at? +
For small variations of a preset, 1–3 % is often enough. Push higher when you want to break further from the source.
